On-Site\u2019s next online discussion will focus on the findings of the KPMG 2025 Construction Industry Digital Maturity Survey, conducted in collaboration with the Canadian Construction Association.<\/p>\n

\"Webinar<\/a>As the sense of urgency to boost the industry\u2019s productivity and efficiency grows alongside optimism that technology will be a game changer, representatives from KPMG in Canada and the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) will discuss the results of the KPMG 2025 Construction Industry Digital Maturity Survey<\/em> in a free online session at 2 p.m. (ET) on Monday, November 10.<\/p>\n

Presented by On-Site magazine<\/em>, the hour-long seminar will explore the results of the research report, which was conducted in collaboration with the CCA. Points up for discussion will include the speed at which the industry is embracing digital technologies like AI, as well as new products and building practices.<\/p>\n

According to the report authors, Canadian construction companies have made significant progress in their digital transformation journey in the five years since KPMG in Canada first assessed their digital maturity, but with nation-building megaprojects garnering increased government focus, and ongoing labour and material price pressures, the need to find solutions to the industry\u2019s challenges is greater than ever.<\/p>\n

As such, Jordan Thomson, managing director within KPMG\u2019s Global Infrastructure Advisory Group, and Kenny Leon, vice-president of marketing innovation and industry collaboration at the CCA, will discuss the use of modern digital technologies as well as innovative approaches to construction, like prefabrication and modularization.<\/p>\n

Also on the agenda will be a brief look at construction within the federal government\u2019s upcoming budget, which will be released on November 4. With two new federal agencies putting a focus on nation-building infrastructure and the housing sectors, productivity and efficiency are expected to become an ever-higher priority in Canada\u2019s construction sector, points that Jordan and Kenny will also explore during the upcoming online session.
