Canadian contractors facing ongoing skilled labour shortages have new reason to take notice as the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum<\/a> (CAF-FCA) officially launches the Canadian Apprenticeship Foundation \u2013 a national charitable organization designed to advance equity, leadership and long-term sustainability in the trades. Announced on December 1, 2025, the Foundation represents a major expansion of CAF-FCA\u2019s ability to invest directly in people \u2013 an effort that aligns closely with the construction sector\u2019s need for a steady pipeline of trained apprentices, particularly in concrete-intensive and other labour-demanding fields.
