The final undeveloped lot within this portion of the Railway Lands West, the block is currently vacant and framed by a network of parks, community facilities, and high-density Concord CityPlace residential buildings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A site-specific rezoning for 150 Queens Wharf Road was adopted in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/news\/2021\/06\/proposed-cityplace-affordable-housing-building-supersized-latest-plan.45470\" target=\"_blank\">2021<\/a> through By-law 1067-2024, advancing a 29-storey mixed-use rental tower designed\u00a0by\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/dtah\" target=\"_blank\">DTAH Architects<\/a> for TCHC and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/createto.7659\" target=\"_blank\">CreateTO<\/a>. The new tower design adopts a rounded, 12-sided floor-plate of roughly 800m\u00b2, up from 750m\u00b2. A simplified two-storey podium replaces the earlier multi-level base. There would be 1,075m\u00b2 of indoor amenity space paired with 162m\u00b2 outdoors. The new plan provides 34 vehicular spaces (20 for residents and 14 for visitors) compared to 59 spaces in the earlier proposal. Bicycle parking would total 297 spaces, comprising 243 long-term and 54 short-term stalls, a slight reduction from the previous 305. To the south, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/545-lake-shore-west.34589\" target=\"_blank\">545 Lake Shore West<\/a> is proposed at 21 storeys, while <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/yards.30012\" target=\"_blank\">The Yards<\/a> northwest of the site calls for three towers ranging from 12 to 39 storeys. Proposals at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/689-king-street-west.42893\" target=\"_blank\">689<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/675-king-west.49693\" target=\"_blank\">675 King<\/a> would rise 18 and 21 storeys, and the King\u2013Bathurst Transit-Oriented Community <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/king-bathurst-transit-oriented-community-north-site.55450\" target=\"_blank\">North<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/king-bathurst-transit-oriented-community-south-site.55451\" target=\"_blank\">South<\/a> sites include two 25-storey towers now under construction.
