Over the course of 2025, The Residences at Central Park<\/a> has undergone its most transformative year yet. Phase 1 not only sold out ahead of schedule, it also climbed steadily to its full 31-storey height, topping off before the year\u2019s end. Designed by Core Architects<\/a> for Amexon Development Corporation<\/a>, the 12-acre masterplanned community at Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East is reshaping North York’s Bayview Village area with five towers ranging from 12 to 31 storeys.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking north to Phase 1 in January, 2025<\/a>, the tower has risen several levels above the completed underground garage. We see active decks and edge formwork along the upper floors for the 31-storey structure that is targeted for first occupancy in February, 2026. Phase 1 sits at the centre of the community, now supported by fully built site servicing and the newly completed Green Trail Road, which connects the internal street network across the development.<\/p>\n Inside the emerging residential lobby in March, 2025<\/a>, the double-height volume is defined by steel shoring posts. This area runs east\u2013west along the north side of the ground floor and will eventually serve as the primary entry opposite the future retail and amenity rooms. Glazing will later enclose the lobby. Amenities such as the library, pet spa, and fitness centre are taking shape, upper floors are being formed for the suites, and higher levels already show staging for balcony installation and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.<\/p>\n Looking east across Phase 2 in early May, 2025<\/a>, the excavation was still blanketed in snow, with rebar cages projecting from the pit floor that will eventually support one 19- and two 31-storey towers. The shoring wall is wrapped in orange tarp, while the first Phase 2 crane rises. Foundation forming has begun, setting the stage for a shared podium with 35,000 ft\u00b2 of retail. An underground passage will link Phases 1 and 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n In this June, 2025<\/a> view looking southwest across the East Don River, the cranes rise over the valley greenery. Phase 1, now past the halfway mark at roughly the 17th to 18th storeys, stands to the right, its north elevation showing glazing installed up to the 12th floor and the construction hoist fixed near the northwest corner.\u00a0<\/p>\n In this August, 2025<\/a> northwesterly view, we see Phase 1 rising high above the treetops as it nears its full 31-storey height, with its upper residential floors now formed and glazing enclosing much of the south and east elevations. In the foreground, three cranes now mark construction for Phase 2, where work has advanced from excavation into garage forming.\u00a0<\/p>\n By October, 2025<\/a>, the topped-off Phase 1 tower stood fully formed to its 31 residential storeys. Leaf-motif balcony guards, one of the development\u2019s signature design elements, are installed up to the 22nd floor. The wider community is progressing alongside the tower\u2019s structural completion: a continuous underground garage links all phases, a new stairway will soon connect residents to the East Don ravine trail, and future podium amenities and retail base will anchor the neighbourhood as the remaining four towers advance.<\/p>\n When complete, The Residences at Central Park will deliver 1,478 residential suites across buildings rising from 46.5m to 105.9m in height, a community tied together by shared amenities and direct access to the three-acre Central Park Common.
