Brought to you this year by our friends at Diverso Energy, the poll is your chance to vote on your favourite new buildings completed across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area over the last 12 months.

Included are projects where we have photographic confirmation of completed buildings, so there may be a few 2025 completions that won’t appear in the poll until next year, while we are including a few projects that were completed in late 2024 but didn’t have good photos at the time of last year’s poll.

While we provide one image for each building here, no building can be fully described by just one photo, so if you are unfamiliar with a project, you can click on the project link to go to its thread where you will find many more images. (Photographer credit can also be established by clicking on the links.)

There are 121 buildings in the poll, another record number for you to choose from. The candidates are grouped in height categories, so you have eight favourites to select, one per category:

6-7 storeys — 14 projects

8 storeys — 12 projects

9 storeys — 7 projects

10 storeys — 9 projects

11-13 storeys — 11 projects

14-15 storeys — 12 projects

16-19 storeys — 12 projects

20-25 storeys — 10 projects

26-32 storeys — 11 projects

33-39 storeys — 11 projects

40-49 storeys — 5 projects

50+ storeys — 7 projects

In the case where more than one building was completed in 2025 in a multi-phase project, then the project is found in the category representing the tallest building in the project, ie if both a 10- and a 15-storey project were completed this year, the project will show up in the category where other 15-storey buildings are grouped.

Click here to vote — up until 11:59 PM on New Year’s Day, January 11, 2026.
