PICKERING, ONT. \u2013 The City of Pickering has received an application for a zoning bylaw amendment for a major residential development located at the southwest corner of Kingston Road and Dixie Road, north of Highway 401 in Pickering.<\/p>\n

Applicant 1095 Kingston Road Ltd. is proposing a total of four residential towers, each 35 storeys in height. The total number of units is 1,492.<\/p>\n

Located specifically at 1095 Kingston Rd., the applicant is hoping to rezone the property to allow for apartment dwellings, states a notice, and to establish site-specific zoning standards for floor space index, building height, podium requirements, building setbacks, tower floorplate size, indoor and outdoor amenity space and parking standards for both residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

The site currently has commercial businesses in a one-storey unit.<\/p>\n

A virtual public meeting is being held to inform residents and garner feedback on Jan. 19, 2026 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

The meeting is required under the Planning Act and no decisions are being made at this time.<\/p>\n
