Derek Russell was fatally injured while working on a regeneration project demolishing empty flat blocks in Paisley on Friday.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but died from his injuries the following day.<\/p>\n

He was employed by Greenock based demolition specialist Caskie Limited.<\/p>\n

Euan Caskie, a director of the company, told the BBC<\/em>: \u201cThis is a deeply tragic incident, and our thoughts are with his partner, his six children, and his wider family at this incredibly difficult time.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a respected and valued member of our team.\u201d<\/p>\n
