The announcement reinforces the manufacturer\u2019s ongoing push to expand its electric construction equipment portfolio as part of a broader transition toward lower-emission machinery.<\/span><\/p>\n The latest addition represents a significant step within Komatsu\u2019s electrification roadmap. The electric mini excavator range has been developed in direct response to increasing pressure across the construction sector for low- and zero-emission operations. In parallel, the company has focused on addressing traditional barriers to electric equipment adoption, including concerns around charging infrastructure and operational performance.<\/span><\/p>\n Komatsu\u2019s electric mini excavator offering now consists of the PC20E, PC26E and PC33E-6. These machines are purpose-built for use in emissions-sensitive environments and are designed to deliver diesel-equivalent performance. Buyers of the electric mini excavator range will benefit from extended \u201cE-support,\u201d which includes a five-year warranty covering new electric components.
