Construction has progressed at\u00a0Pinnacle Lakeside Phase 1<\/a> since UrbanToronto\u2019s last update in\u00a0September, 2025<\/a>, with all three of its buildings now rising in Toronto\u2019s East Bayfront area. Designed by\u00a0Hariri Pontarini Architects<\/a> for\u00a0Pinnacle International<\/a>, the first phase occupies the southwest corner of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Sherbourne Street, directly across from Sherbourne Common, and comprises three residential buildings rising 15, 44, and 54 storeys. A 43-storey second phase<\/a> is planned west of the site.<\/p>\n Looking north in December, 2025, on the right, the wedge-shaped 14-storey podium for the 53-storey tower has climbed to roughly 10 storeys, with slab formwork and perimeter safety screens set for the 11th floor, with its distinctive angled perimeter columns flaring outward as they rise. In the centre background, the 15-storey building has reached 13 floors, with white spandrel panels and glazing now installed up to the fifth level. At the front-left of the site, the 44-storey tower stands at two floors. Two cranes service the site on the west and east ends.<\/p>\n Work is also underway on a new east\u2013west street forming the southern edge. A freshly poured concrete base defines the future roadway alignment, covered in orange tarp, with timber formwork still visible along its perimeter.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking west along the new street a few days later, the uncovered concrete base spans much of the corridor towards Richardson Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking east from Richardson Street, the new street is now largely paved, with some open sections on the west end. In the left background, the 15-storey building features white panelling installed along the slab edges up to the fifth floor, while glazing has been set within the central window wall bays along the east elevation to the fourth level.\u00a0<\/p>\n A telephoto view this month from the northwest captures active work at the uppermost level of the 15-storey building. Along the west side, formwork panels frame newly poured and forming concrete walls closer to the centre of the floor-plate. At the east end, decking has been partially installed in preparation for the next slab pour, enclosed by red perimeter safety fencing. A blue concrete boom pump rises at the east edge of the tower.<\/p>\n A content shot from the same origin shows the three buildings advancing at differing paces. The northwest building is close to topping off with the 15th floor nearing completion as concrete walls are largely formed, while white panelling and dark glazing are now installed up to the sixth floor along the north and west elevations. To its south, the second-tallest tower stands at three storeys, with formwork in place for the fourth floor, though progress has slowed following the completion of a large slab pour. At the east side of the site, crews are forming the 14th level of the tallest tower’s podium.\u00a0<\/p>\n When complete, Phase 1’d buildings will rise between 57.95m and 174.86m in height and deliver a total of 1,261 condominium units to the East Bayfront area.
