Based in Brossard, Quebec, the appointment places preconstruction at the centre of JCB\u2019s long-term growth strategy, a move that\u2019s particularly relevant for contractors delivering concrete-intensive projects where early decisions around scope, sequencing and cost certainty can have a significant impact on outcomes.<\/p>\n

A proven leader shaped from within<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Caron joined JCB Construction Canada in 2018 as an estimator and quickly emerged as a key contributor to the firm\u2019s estimating and value engineering capabilities. Over the past seven years, he has progressed through increasingly senior roles, including Chief Estimator in 2022 and Director of Estimation in 2023. That same year, he was also integrated into the company\u2019s shareholding plan, recognizing his role in driving growth and performance.<\/p>\n

During his tenure, Caron has been responsible for estimating billions of square feet of construction work, generating millions of dollars in savings for clients through disciplined analysis and value engineering.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Caron will oversee all preconstruction-related activities, including business development, strategic marketing and project estimating with a mandate that includes optimizing JCB\u2019s project pipeline, targeting the right markets and strengthening long-term relationships with clients, partners and suppliers.<\/p>\n

A graduate in Civil Engineering Technology, Caron brings more than 18 years of industry experience to the role and is widely recognized for his collaborative management style, transparency and ability to coordinate high-performance teams \u2013 traits that align closely with JCB\u2019s growth and execution objectives.<\/p>\n
