{"id":34262,"date":"2026-02-11T14:30:20","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T22:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/two-arrested-after-999-construction-fly-tipping-call\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T14:30:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T22:30:20","slug":"two-arrested-after-999-construction-fly-tipping-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/two-arrested-after-999-construction-fly-tipping-call\/","title":{"rendered":"Two arrested after 999 construction fly-tipping call"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-505573\">\n\t<!-- .entry-header --><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Essex Police responded to a 999 call after waste was left on private land close to the M25\u2019s junction with the M11, in the village of Stapleford Tawney.<\/p>\n<p>Officers swooped on the field on last week arresting a 55-year-old from Horley in Surrey, and a 25-year-old from Mullaghbawn in County Armagh.<\/p>\n<p>They were taken to a police station and questioned by officers on behalf of the Environment Agency, which is leading enquiries.<\/p>\n<p>Police were greeted by a lorry full of construction and demolition waste and more rubbish spread over a wide area.<\/p>\n<p>The lorry, which had sunk into thick mud, was seized.
