Designed by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/populous.16955\" target=\"_blank\">Populous<\/a> for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/harlo-capital.40596\" target=\"_blank\">Harlo Capital<\/a> in partnership with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/exhibition-place.7708\" target=\"_blank\">Exhibition Place<\/a>, the proposal calls for a 32-storey hotel tower alongside a four-storey, 5,500-seat performance venue. The property sits immediately west of the heritage-designated Stanley Barracks and south of the Princes\u2019 Gate ceremonial arch, with the existing Hotel X complex located further east. Of the total GFA, 30,941m\u00b2 would be allocated to the hotel component, with the remaining 12,226m\u00b2 devoted to the performance venue. Architectural plans indicate seven elevators serving the hotel, equating to roughly one elevator for every 53 suites.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The four-storey venue would accommodate up to 5,500 seated patrons, a reduction from the earlier 7,000-seat concept.
