Designed by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/arcadis.8006\" target=\"_blank\">Arcadis<\/a> for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/companies\/camrost-felcorp.7662\" target=\"_blank\">Camrost-Felcorp<\/a>, UrbanToronto\u2019s previous update on the mixed-use community south of Square One Shopping Centre was in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/news\/2025\/09\/exchange-district-growing-taller-mississauga-city-centre.59521\" target=\"_blank\">September, 2025<\/a>. Since then, attention has turned to EX3, set to become Mississauga\u2019s second-tallest tower at 72 storeys, behind the 77-storey <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/m3-m-city.34084\" target=\"_blank\">M3<\/a> at <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urbantoronto.ca\/database\/projects\/m3-m-city.34084\" target=\"_blank\">M City<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In October, EX3 is several floors taller than the completed 30-storey EXS to the south (front-right) and closing in on the height of the topped-off 42-storey EX2 to the north (back-left), with its yellow-glazed mechanical penthouse. To the east is the 60-storey EX1 (back-right). A patterned sidewalk is installed, featuring alternating dark and light rectangular modules framed by a contrasting reddish band. The podium is largely enclosed, combining curtain wall glazing, black metal panel cladding, and lighter stone-toned precast elements, with entrance canopies over retail frontages. The first three stacked six-storey volumes are largely enclosed with alternating white and black metal panels and vision glazing. Bands of blue weatherproofing trace exposed slab edges where additional cladding is pending. Tall, rounded concrete columns wrapped in blue weatherproofing support the overhang, while steel framing is in place to receive the curved curtain wall glazing. The first two storeys remain largely exposed concrete, in contrast to the dark metal panels and glazing already installed above.
