Irvine, California-based FieldAI, a startup that focuses on physical artificial intelligence for robots, announced over the summer that it had <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/fieldai-funding-robotics-startup-work\/758711\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>raised $405 million<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span> across two consecutive funding rounds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Other investors in World Labs include AMD, Emerson Collective, Fidelity Management &amp; Research, NVIDIA and Sea, according to World Labs\u2019 news release.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>NVIDIA in particular has been active in the construction space. Through its venture capital arm NVentures, the company participated in FieldAI\u2019s funding rounds and the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.constructiondive.com\/news\/bedrock-robotics-raise-ai-automation-funding\/811982\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>$270 million Series B of Bedrock Robotics<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><span><span><span>, which retrofits traditional heavy machinery with autonomous technology.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>With Autodesk\u2019s investment into World Labs, the firm will also serve as a strategic advisor.
