ESSEX, ONT. \u2014 EnerQuest Technologies Solutions Inc. is slated to expand their manufacturing facility in Harrow and reshore the production of switchgears from the United States, the Province of Ontario has announced.<\/p>\n
The project will create 125 new jobs and protect 154 existing positions across Essex County, a release notes. Ontario is providing $1.5 million in funding through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund stream of the\u00a0Regional Development Program<\/a>\u00a0for the project.<\/p>\n A custom manufacturer of prefabricated electrical equipment, EnerQuest\u2019s expansion will bring their switchgear sub-assembly manufacturing in-house to their Harrow facility.<\/p>\n \u201cIn addition to mitigating tariff risks and scaling production capacity, the investment will position EnerQuest to meet confirmed contract demands for critical data centre infrastructure, modular housing, and medical units,\u201d the release explains.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
