Besides a fourth sets of tracks being added here, so are anther two sets of tracks for Ontario Line 3, and in fact they’re getting a whole new bridge just north of the existing one. The new bridge, dubbed the Lower Don Crossing by Metrolinx, is not directly parallel to the GO corridor bridge, but slightly askew from it, widening the space to the east to allow for platforms that will be begin construction for another new feature here, East Harbour station.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60657/60657-195591.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-509b4501-ee58-401e-aeb2-64aad18d76ae" data-entity-type="file" alt="Looking down at the bridges, new and old, over the Don River in Toronto's Port Lands" title="Looking down at the bridges, new and old, over the Don River in Toronto's Port Lands, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Smiffy" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60657/60657-195591.jpg', true, 'Looking down at the bridges, new and old, over the Don River in Toronto\\'s Port Lands, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Smiffy'); return false;">Looking down at the bridges, new and old, over the Don River in Toronto’s Port Lands, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Smiffy

This image comes to us courtesy of UrbanToronto Forum contributor Smiffy.
