{"id":34815,"date":"2026-03-27T04:42:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T11:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/rfp-issued-for-part-one-of-the-opp-modernization-project\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T04:42:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T11:42:13","slug":"rfp-issued-for-part-one-of-the-opp-modernization-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essential.construction\/news\/rfp-issued-for-part-one-of-the-opp-modernization-project\/","title":{"rendered":"RFP issued for part one of the OPP modernization project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>TORONTO \u2014 Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Solicitor General have invited three teams to respond to a request for proposals (RFP) to design, build and finance 11 new detachments and one regional headquarters for part one of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Modernization Phase 3 project.<\/p>\n<p>The teams and their prime members are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amico Secure Ontario<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant lead: Amico Design Build Inc (75 per cent), Tom Jones Corporation (25 per cent)<\/li>\n<li>Design team: WZMH Architects<\/li>\n<li>Construction team: Amico Design Build Inc and Tom Jones Corporation<\/li>\n<li>Financial adviser: Agentis Capital Advisors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bird Capital Limited Partnership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant lead: Bird Capital Limited Partnership<\/li>\n<li>Design team: NORR Architects &amp; Engineers Limited<\/li>\n<li>Construction team: Bird Design Build Construction Inc<\/li>\n<li>Financial adviser: Bird Capital<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ledcor OPP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant lead: Ledcor Design-Build (Ontario) Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Design team: Dialog Ontario Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Construction team: Ledcor Design-Build (Ontario) Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Financial adviser: National Bank Financial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The teams were shortlisted based on criteria identified in a request for qualifications process that began in May 2025.
