Designed by Core Architects, the 12-acre development is introducing five residential buildings ranging from 12 to 31 storeys at the eastern edge of North York’s Bayview Village, adjacent to the East Don River ravine and within walking distance of Leslie station on Sheppard Line 4. Current efforts are focused below grade, where forming and foundation work are extending the continuous parking structure that will link all phases of the project.

Looking northeast across the site this month, the topped off Phase 1 tower rises in the background at its full 31-storey height, with glazing and balcony assemblies fully installed and the six-storey podium clearly articulated by vertical precast bands. In the foreground, activity is concentrated on Phase 2, where three cranes are positioned over an active construction zone advancing through substructure work. Between the two phases, staging areas are filled with bundled materials, formwork components, and construction equipment.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195694.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-3c3cafb5-7223-4d9f-a9e1-c3b2af187573" data-entity-type="file" alt="The Residences at Central Park, Toronto, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" title="Looking northeast to construction progress on Phase 2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor CLT" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195694.jpg', true, 'Looking northeast to construction progress on Phase 2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor CLT'); return false;">Looking northeast to construction progress on Phase 2, image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor CLT

Phase 1 of the development is now virtually complete and preparing for initial occupancies at the end of this month. The 31-storey tower stands tall with the project’s distinctive willow leaf-motif glass guards. Its six-storey podium is defined by vertical precast cladding and houses a range of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, including a double-height fitness area and shared social facilities. Supporting infrastructure delivered with this phase includes the completed Green Trail Road.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195697.jpeg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-dbc5f3ec-b58f-46b3-a254-09e95324c873" data-entity-type="file" alt="The Residences at Central Park, Toronto, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" title="Central Park Common and farmers market on the lawn, image courtesy of Amexon Development Corporation" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195697.jpeg', true, 'Central Park Common and farmers market on the lawn, image courtesy of Amexon Development Corporation'); return false;">Central Park Common and farmers market on the lawn, image courtesy of Amexon Development Corporation

Phase 2 is a cluster comprising one 19-storey and two 31-storey towers rising from a shared podium. The podium will incorporate approximately 35,000 ft² of retail along with additional amenity space. This phase will extend the continuous below-grade parking network, equipped with EV charging at every stall, and further define the internal street edges and pedestrian connections across the site.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195696.jpeg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-72ffa6d2-5c4a-46c8-a632-eaa62e2ac74c" data-entity-type="file" alt="The Residences at Central Park, Toronto, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" title="Cafe featuring patio as part of retail in the shared space, image courtesy of Amexon" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195696.jpeg', true, 'Cafe featuring patio as part of retail in the shared space, image courtesy of Amexon'); return false;">Cafe featuring patio as part of retail in the shared space, image courtesy of Amexon

Future phases will complete the five-building masterplan, including a 12-storey building at the northern edge of the site, plus the full realization of Central Park Common, the three-acre landscaped open space at the heart of the community. Planned features include a central lawn, timber seating platforms, café-style areas, and a trellis pavilion, all connected by a network of pedestrian promenades and a glazed canopy tracing internal circulation routes. A new stairway will link the development directly to the East Don ravine trail system, supported by slope stabilization and riprap reinforcement along the valley edge.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195699.jpeg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-1e4360b5-ed72-4bb7-925f-3b5fdcb7db9c" data-entity-type="file" alt="The Residences at Central Park, Toronto, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" title="The future stairway into the ravine from Central Park, image courtesy of Amexon" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195699.jpeg', true, 'The future stairway into the ravine from Central Park, image courtesy of Amexon'); return false;">The future stairway into the ravine from Central Park, image courtesy of Amexon

At full build-out, the community will deliver 1,478 residential units across buildings ranging from 46.5m to 105.9m.

<imgx class="image-display_default" src="https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195701.jpg" data-entity-uuid="insert-display_default-7cf05505-440e-496d-ac61-8e438df2b88f" data-entity-type="file" alt="The Residences at Central Park, Toronto, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" title="Looking northeast to The Residences at Central Park, designed by Core Architects for Amexon" onclick="photo('https://cdn.skyrisecities.com/sites/default/files/images/articles/2026/03/60669/60669-195701.jpg', true, 'Looking northeast to The Residences at Central Park, designed by Core Architects for Amexon'); return false;">Looking northeast to The Residences at Central Park, designed by Core Architects for Amexon

UrbanToronto will continue to follow progress on this development, but in the meantime, you can learn more about it from our Database file, linked below.
