But for others, elevated macroeconomic\u00a0risks\u00a0are\u00a0likely\u00a0beginning\u00a0to feed into\u00a0planning\u00a0decisions.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On the commercial side,\u00a0planning momentum slowed across all commercial sectors apart from\u00a0data centers.\u00a0Institutional planning saw widespread weakness, with only education and public buildings moderately gaining traction.\u00a0Despite recent declines, the\u00a0DMI\u00a0remains\u00a0elevated.\u00a0Year-over-year, the\u00a0DMI\u00a0was up\u00a025.8% when compared to\u00a0March\u00a02025. The commercial segment was up\u00a028.5%\u00a0(-12.7%\u00a0when data centers are removed)\u00a0and the institutional segment was up\u00a019.6% over the same period.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A total of\u00a054\u00a0projects valued at $100 million or more\u00a0entered\u00a0planning throughout\u00a0February.\u00a0The largest of those projects included 17 individual buildings, each valued at $500 million, for the Amazon Data Center Campus in Hamlet, North Carolina. Similarly, ten individual buildings, each valued at $250 million, entered planning in relation to the Microsoft Data\u00a0Center\u00a0DSM50\u00a0in Dallas, Iowa.
