Construction is approaching topping off at\u00a0Everston<\/a> in Scarborough\u2019s West Hill neighbourhood, where the 13-storey purpose-built rental development has now reached its full storey count at the northwest corner of Kingston Road and Manse Road. Designed by\u00a0Turner Fleischer<\/a> for\u00a0LCH Developments<\/a>, the project in Toronto\u2019s east end has progressed rapidly since construction began in July, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n Back in December 2025, west and east cranes bookend the site, while formed concrete walls, rebar extending for the next level above, and formwork are visible across multiple work zones. Between the cranes, crews are advancing the P1 level, with newly poured walls and columns. At the eastern edge of the site, concrete walls have risen above grade. In the foreground, workers are active within the excavation pit at the P2 level.<\/p>\n By February 2026, three completed levels are visible behind the hoarding, while forming operations for the next floor are underway along the eastern portion of the building. The project\u2019s two cranes include the central hammerhead crane serving the main building footprint, while a luffing-jib crane stands to the west (at left). A concrete mixer truck is parked along Kingston Road.<\/p>\n From Kingston and Manse roads in April, 2026, Everston has risen to seven storeys, with decking and formwork in place for the eighth floor. The Kingston Road frontage forms the tallest portion of the development, with a gradual terraced massing towards the west end. Along the lower south and east elevations, we see the installation of dark brown cladding panels and glazing systems on the first three floors.\u00a0<\/p>\n Early this month, the structure stood at 11 storeys. The project\u2019s U-shaped configuration is legible, with the north-facing wings stepping down toward the rear of the site, where a series of step-backs begins at the fifth floor. Along the west elevation, brown cladding panels have been installed to roughly the seventh floor to the left of the construction hoist.\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking toward the Kingston Road frontage, the lower levels of the south elevation have been fitted with glazing, black louvres, and dark accent panels across the first four levels, while balcony edges that will be scalloped above are becoming increasingly evident through the angled outer edge of the formwork sections.\u00a0<\/p>\n Most recently this month, the concrete frame has reached its full 13 storeys, with slab tables and decking assembled for the rooftop level as work transitions to the mechanical penthouse. Enclosure work has progressed through roughly the first five floors. A prominent vertical facade element combines dark spandrel panels, dark aluminum mullions, glazing, and louvre assemblies. Above the enclosed floors, cantilevered deck tables wrap the upper levels as forming and curing progress.<\/p>\n Upon completion, Everston will stand 43.25m tall and bring 566 purpose-built rental units to West Hill in eastern Scarborough.<\/p>\n UrbanToronto will continue to follow progress on this development, but in the meantime, you can learn more about it from our Database file, linked below.
