The property is also located near Berklee College of Music and Northeastern University, which also have plans to grow.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The hotel is \u201cat the epicenter of the momentum shaping the neighborhood’s next chapter,\u201d Mohammad Hashesh, the hotel\u2019s general manager, said in a statement. \u201cOur renovation was inspired by that energy, bringing guests a more contemporary Hilton experience defined by thoughtful design, elevated dining, wellness, and technology.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The renovations embrace an \u201cold-meets-new\u201d design aesthetic, according to Hilton. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The hotel first opened in 1982<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, per Travel Weekly.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Guest rooms, which offer views of the Boston skyline, \u201cprioritize comfort\u201d and include modernized bathrooms and smart connectivity features. Premium rooms measure 450 square feet and come with luxury enhancements such as electronic drapes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the hotel\u2019s \u201cstriking new lobby\u201d features patterned marble, walnut millwork and copper accent lighting, per Hilton. The property also has a new restaurant called 40 Dalton Kitchen & Bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cdramatically\u201d expanded fitness center is equipped with Peloton bikes, connected Life Fitness equipment and an outdoor wellness space, reflecting \u201cthe <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>growing importance of well-being<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> in the travel experience,\u201d per Hilton.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Additionally, the renovated meetings and events space spans 15,000 square feet across 13 different venues, including executive boardrooms, conference rooms, breakout spaces and ballrooms. This summer, the hotel plans to open The Commonwealth, a brand-new 2,500-square-foot events venue with \u201cabundant\u201d natural light.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The property also aims to deepen its role with the community through planned collaborations related to <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>America\u2019s 250th anniversary<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> and activated wellness programming, including on the hotel\u2019s rooftop.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In addition to cultural spots, the hotel is situated next to several shopping centers, including the Shops at Prudential Center, Newbury Street and Copley Place. Global investment firm <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Certares acquired the hotel in spring 2024 for $171 million<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> alongside Belcourt Capital Partners.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this month, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>apart-hotel company Kasa debuted<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> Kasa Boston at Fenway in what it calls one of the country\u2019s \u201cmost high-demand, under-supplied cities.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
