If you’re working on a design build project, or any project that requires managing a team of designers, you’ll know that it can be a challenge to keep them all aligned. During the early phases of a project, there are many critical submissions to be made at various times.
One way to ensure that everyone remains aligned on the requirements of each submission is through the use of a design deliverables matrix. This matrix identifies which items are required to be submitted at each milestone / phase.
This matrix identifies when submissions will be made at which point in time, as well as the individual drawings and details required for each submission.
