Upon completion of a construction project the contractor will often submit a final progress claim to be reviewed by the consultants and owner. This payment claim is considered final, when all money is paid the contractor has no further financial obligations to the project.

As a result it is important to document this, the architect or payment certifier typically does this through a final paymen certificate. This document includes all of the critical fields you need to issue a proper one.
