When you start a construction project it’s important to establish the proper routing of information through the various project stakeholders. An RFI (Request For Information) workflow is a document that outlines the process an RFI should follow during the a project. It’s purpose is to provide clarification to the project team on how a document should flow throughout the various parties. The workflow outlines who is responsible and at what step for taking action.

At the start of the project your team should sit down with the project stakeholders and develop the RFI workflow so that the procedure is established. This will help documents run through the project team more smoothly during the construction project.
