When you start a construction project one of the first documents you’ll be required by law to complete is a site specific safety plan. No workers should be on site until this is completed. So what is a site specific safety plan and why is it used on a construction site?

A site specific safety plan is a document that walks through details related to your jobsite and the procedures and plans in place to keep workers safe. It is used on a jobsite to help communicate to workers and companies in your employ the guidelines for safety on the jobsite.

This construction site specific safety plan template is a comprehensive document that covers many of the sections required for a site safety plan. As a reminder it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with this document and ensure it meets all code requirements for your region. This is a template only.
