Full Description
One of the most common activities on a project is the usage of a ladder to perform regular construction tasks. Ladders are a common access tool – whether it’s to perform the work or to get yourself from one surface to another.
This document can be used by project teams as a safe work procedure to satisfy Ministry of Labour and OSHA requirements for work procedures. Workers can review and sign off on the safe work procedure each day or week as required by the project guidelines.
This ladder safe work procedure also includes a ladder inspection form to ensure workers are checking their equipment before usage. Fields include:
- Inspection requirements for ladder
- Signoff of each item (yes / no)
- Sign off that workers have reviewed the procedure
- Sign off that foreman has reviewed the procedure
*NOTE – it is the responsibility of all vendors to modify this form to ensure it meets all local, regional and national code and safety requirements.
