A delay notice is a written form of communication that is issued on a construction project that identifies and communicates a delay to the timeline (schedule) of the construction project.
There is typically a legal requirement for communicating a delay in that written correspondence by way of a letter must be issued to the owner. This letter template provides you with the notification requirements of a delay notice.
In addition to the minimum requirements, this letter template also provides a section which will allow you to communicate some of the positive things your team is doing to help minimize the impact to the overall project.
