Twenty-four contractors have secured places on procurement group NEPO’s next-generation construction framework.
Newcomers this time around include Bam Construction, Bowmer & Kirkland, Caddick Construction, Esh, GMI, Morgan Sindall and Morris & Spottiswood.
The refreshed construction framework for councils and public bodies in the north east is estimated to be worth around £800m.

The lotting structure has been expanded from 6 lots to 10 lots with half a dozen more places to encourage smaller contractors to take part.
Its scope will cover a diverse range of construction but is mainly targeted at new build and improvement works, while also including civil engineering, infrastructure and demolition works.
