An above ground parking garage in Toronto’s Harbourfront area, hidden from Queens Quay but in plain sight along the south side of Lake Shore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway, is soon to be replaced by a towering condo building… with a much smaller footprint. In this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Dustin William, you can see that the team that’s bringing the new building to the site painted that footprint on the roof of the garage, right where the new tower will rise. It will sprout from atop a podium itself, but the site will end up with more space at ground level and some actual landscaping surrounding it.
Within a few days, the black footprint got more detailed, as per this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor FC_.
