If you’re ever wandering through neighbourhoods of recently built residential towers and are wondering where our city’s missing colour is… head into a parking garage under the park-like setting of Front Campus at the University of Toronto. That’s the area enclosed by King’s College Circle that was a perennial muddy playing field at the heart of the campus that is now undergirded, not by chains, but by piping from the school’s new geothermal heating and cooling system.
