Midea America, in partnership with NAHVAC, has announced the grand opening of its flagship showroom in Burnaby, B.C.. Located at 100-5118 North Fraser Way, the 20,000-square-foot facility (including a 3,000-square-foot showroom) will serve as a hub for product education, contractor training and community engagement. The event was commemorated with guests receiving red envelopes to symbolize “good fortune and partnership”, reflecting Midea’s commitment to local collaboration. The celebration continued with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by product demonstrations and interactive zones featuring Midea’s heat pump systems, designed to perform reliably in Canada’s harsh climate. The event featured remarks from notable guests, including Burnaby mayor, Mike Hurley; head of Midea RAC North America, Phil Huang; and city councillors, James Wang and Richard T. Lee. Media members from prominent outlets, like the Ming Pao Daily Vancouver, AM1320 CHMB and Fairchild TV, were also in attendance.
