The two-lot deal – split between non-infrastructure and infrastructure works – runs for five years with options to extend by up to three more.

Galliford Try, Mildren and OCU Utility Services are among the big-name firms to secure spots on both lots.

Lot scopes range from treatment plant upgrades, dosing and MCC replacements to new service reservoirs, stormwater storage, SUDS, rising mains and mains replacement.

The framework also includes emergency pipeline response and power-resilience upgrades.
