The Buildings Show and the Real Estate Forum are returning to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre next week, and UrbanToronto is once again joining the events at this annual building industry extravaganza.

For the first two days, the events run concurrently, side by side in the Convention Centre’s South Building. On December 3 and 4, you can find UrbanToronto at our booth at the Real Estate Forum. Drop by to say ‘Hi’ and to learn all about UTPro, the data services that UrbanToronto offers to the industry.

The Buildings Show itself runs from December 3 to 5, and on the 5th you will find us on the Sol-R Main Stage from 11 AM to 12.30 PM for a panel discussion concerning Toronto’s main streets as the city transforms with ever more redevelopment replacing our traditional, independent retail-fronted, two-storey buildings with mostly condo podiums. Along with UrbanToronto President and Co-Founder, Edward Skira, and Managing Editor, Craig White, our guest speakers will be Emilia Floro, Director of Urban Design at the City of Toronto, John Kiru, CEO of the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas, and Chris van de Water, Vice President of Development at Fitzrovia. Each of our panelists will present their outlooks on keeping our city’s main streets vibrant as a major draw for daily activities.

You can register for the Buildings Show here. See you there!
