PICKERING, ONT. – The City of Pickering has received an application for a zoning bylaw amendment for a major residential development located at the southwest corner of Kingston Road and Dixie Road, north of Highway 401 in Pickering.
Applicant 1095 Kingston Road Ltd. is proposing a total of four residential towers, each 35 storeys in height. The total number of units is 1,492.
Located specifically at 1095 Kingston Rd., the applicant is hoping to rezone the property to allow for apartment dwellings, states a notice, and to establish site-specific zoning standards for floor space index, building height, podium requirements, building setbacks, tower floorplate size, indoor and outdoor amenity space and parking standards for both residents and visitors.
The site currently has commercial businesses in a one-storey unit.
A virtual public meeting is being held to inform residents and garner feedback on Jan. 19, 2026 at 7 p.m.
The meeting is required under the Planning Act and no decisions are being made at this time.
