Concord Sky and 8 Elm are each growing taller opposite each other across Yonge Street, just south of Gerrard, in Downtown Toronto. Heading for 85 and 69 storeys respectively, the very nature of Yonge Street is changing even as the walls of most of the heritage low-rise buildings that have made it a shopping street for years will be restored and incorporated into the developments as their ground realm faces.
