Gallery Square, a multi-phase development from the Remington Group, is coming together to form the backbone of Downtown Markham in this image by UrbanToronto/Pokémon hybrid swampymudkip. The mid-rise buildings, of which there are several, are formed in a stacked-boxes style, each box having different cladding, window, and balcony arrangements in order to avoid a monolithic appearance. There’s colour here too, but the bright green will be disappearing as more sober choices for the final outside layer are gradually applied.
