In this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Johnny Au, multiple planes of glass and metal, mostly either steel or aluminum, make up the layered building blocks of the city, here looking northeast across Queen Street just west of Yonge in the heart of Downtown. In the centre, window glazing now covers most of 2 Queen West as that redevelopment project inches towards completion. In the lower foreground, the spiralling form of the pedestrian bridge linking The Bay with the Easton Centre stands out.
