Welcome everyone and thanks again for taking the time out of your busy day to visit cnstrcr. If you used our website before and are returning you may be noticing a number of changes that have been occurring over the last few weeks. Below I have included a quick update on improvements we’ve made and what’s coming soon!

Site Updates

  • Improved Navigation – we’ve recently redesigned the header to support improved navigation and user control. You will be seeing further refinements to this in the coming weeks but we now support drop down menus and have integrated the search bar and user panel into it.
  • Social Has Gotten Better! – not only do we have a facebook, twitter and LinkedIn account now but we also have introduced ways that will help you share our content. The first way is the introduction of the share bar in articles. The second is through implementation of social login system where you can utilize your facebook, google, LinkedIn or twitter account to create your Cnstrcr profile. The last way we’ve made the site more social is by creating a user profile system similar to Facebook.
  • Forums and Directory – these will be our focus for improvements over the coming weeks but already some changes are being made. A better forum user experience and directory are already underway!
  • Mobility and Responsiveness – we’ve improved how cnstrcr displays on a phone or tablet. There are some kinks to still work out but the website should be showing up cleaner now on a phone screen. Our intention is to make our site as accessible as possible.
  • Security – one of the latest updates is the implementation of the https protocol. This means that your data is safe with us when you login and use this website. The main website will now redirect everyone to this URL.

Hopefully you enjoy the changes we’ve made to the website and will continue to check us out. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or in our forums!

We are looking forward to continuing to be your source for construction articles and information!
