UrbanCore will offer clients a single integrated package covering demolition, dismantling, material reuse, foundations, basements, reinforced concrete and steel frames.
The two firms said the new venture has been set up to cut risk on tight city schemes where the split between groundworks, substructure and structural packages can cause delays and cost uncertainty.
UrbanCore will focus on commercial developments and basement-led schemes in dense urban locations.
The partners said the approach will simplify procurement and give clients clearer accountability from early design through to delivery.

UrbanCore is already being tested on live projects, including complex substructure and structural works at One North Quay in Canary Wharf.
Kilnbridge chief executive officer Owen Dannatt said: “By integrating teams from day one, we remove those gaps and give clients greater certainty on programme, cost and delivery from ground to structure.”
