Canadian construction technology expert Hammad Chaudhry recently joined Timescapes as the company’s new vice-president of market development and partnerships. With over a decade of experience driving digital innovation across Canada’s construction industry, Chaudhry brings his expertise to Timescapes, a construction technology firm specializing in time-lapse and jobsite analytics looking to accelerate its growth in the North American market.
Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in Construction in 2022, Chaudhry’s career reflects a broad spectrum of expertise, from hands-on roles in architecture and construction to leading-edge digital transformation initiatives and strategic partnerships with ConTech startups and global industry leaders.
As vice-president of innovation and construction technology at EllisDon, he oversaw the company’s VDC, ConTech Accelerator, and Pilot programs, effectively bridging real-world jobsite needs with innovative digital solutions. He continues to shape industry advancement through advisory positions with such organizations as Building Transformations and Provision.
“In the past two years, I’ve been a Timescapes client and seen firsthand the impact it brings to project teams,” said Chaudhry. “Construction technology has advanced significantly, and tools like reality capture, BIM and AI are transforming how we tackle project complexities and risk.”
In his new role, Chaudhry will help shape Timescapes’ product roadmap, strengthen partnerships, and champion the company’s mission to help construction professionals with visual data and insights to build better, faster and safer.
“Timescapes stands out by delivering practical solutions that work on real job sites while setting the stage for future innovation,” he stated. “That’s what drew me here—a team committed to meaningful collaboration and driving real change across the industry.”
“Hammad is a true force in driving real change and improvement in the industry. Having worked closely with him over the past two years, it’s clear he understands what we’re building—and, more importantly, that we have the focus, team and solution to deliver real impact to construction teams, not just words or promises,” stated Timescapes CEO Chester Boyes. “His belief in Timescapes is a powerful endorsement, and we’re thrilled to have him on board in such a critical role.”
