Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has pledged that HS2 would connect to London Euston as originally planned, responding to a Sun press report that the line could stop at Old Oak Common because of ballooning costs.



Fears still linger Euston Station terminus could be delayed to save costs






He said that he did not see “any conceivable circumstances” where the line wouldn’t run on into Euston but didn’t comment on the timescale.
