The ’Namgis Nation and Renewal Development, with support from Bosa Properties, are partnering to preserve and relocate a 2,580-square-foot show home from Delta, B.C., to Alert Bay, B.C. The structure will be repurposed into a much-needed community resource centre for the ’Namgis Nation. This four-day journey, beginning Nov. 19, showcased a growing circular economy approach in the development industry — rescuing and repurposing buildings rather than demolishing them.
