Winter Stations is underway at Woodbine Beach for its annual run, on now until March 30, free to the public to wanter through. Peak, seen in the image below by UrbanToronto Forum contributor hawc, is one of six installations. Designed by the University of Waterloo School of Architecture and the Department of Architectural Engineering, as per its official website; “Emerging from “the soft and organic beachscape are angular peaks that frame perspectives and form pathways. Consisting of repeating structures of select shapes and sizes, Peak is an interactive installation that visually contrasts the existing site and offers refuge from the cold winter environment.”
