It’s been a long time coming. UrbanToronto’s thread for the St Lawrence Market North Building started in 2006, and about 19 years later we are still waiting for a grand opening… or multiple ones. While everything looks good to go in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Dustin William from December, the building has yet to open. The new City traffic courts on floors 3 to 5 are planned to open on February 25, but the multi-use ground floor space that will be holding farmers’ and antique markets, etc., may not open until the end of May, when Doors Open holds its annual Toronto event. We shall see.
