The management committee of Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP has named Sharon Vogel and David Edinger co-managing partners of the legal firm. The positions were effective as of January 1.
The firm cited Vogel’s stellar reputation in the construction industry, where she is highly experienced in settling disputes and drafting and negotiating contracts. Recognized as a global thought leader and top ranked in construction and infrastructure law in Canada and internationally, Vogel is a member of the firm’s management committee and is past-chair of its construction and infrastructure practice group. She, with Bruce Reynolds, also opened the Toronto office for Singleton Reynolds, expanding the firm’s footprint in the construction industry nationwide.
Edinger is a preeminent commercial litigator, who has been recognized as such by his peers. He has extensive experience across many different industries and areas of law, and provides well-rounded, strategic advice to the firm’s clients in complex or unique circumstances. A member of the firm’s management committee for eight years, Edinger is the past-chair of the firm’s conflict committee and is a member of its commercial litigation, construction, insurance and workplace law practice groups. He has supported all aspects of the firm’s growth into the Canada-wide market through his leadership, mentorship and forward planning efforts.
The firm says the duo will work together to lead the firm’s commitment to excellence, with a focus on both the success of its clients and the Singleton Reynolds community.
“David and I are excited by the opportunity to lead the talented and dedicated lawyers and staff at Singleton Reynolds, and to continue and to build on the firm’s strengths and excellent service to its clients,” stated Vogel.
