TORONTO — An industrial accident occurred in Rexdale, Ont. this morning.
According to Toronto Police Services Twitter, the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. at Queens Plate Drive and Rexdale Boulevard. Reports indicate the worker was injured on machinery.
The injury is serious, the Twitter post stated. The worker was transported to hospital. Police assisted in the emergency run.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
