Full Description
Automatic climbing systems or “climbers” are a system used on a construction site that provides vertical access to workers. It works by extending a mast up vertically on a project and a horizontal platform than climbs along that mast up the side of the building.
The benefits to a climber system are that it is a stable and safe work space, however some of it’s downsides include the real estate required to support it as well as the structural connections that are required.
Because this is high risk, it may be necessary to require workers to complete a work permit prior to accessing the automatic climbers. This document can provide that sign off for your jobsite.
