Working within the construction industry isn’t always glamourous. There are many situations where you need to perform work within tight, small spaces. It’s the nature of our work and unfortunately a requirement of some projects. Confined spaces however can be dangerous to workers.
In order to ensure that workers are taking the necessary precautions you should have them complete a work permit. This work permit is tailored towards working in confined spaces, having them check key items such as access and egress, ventilation and many other key items.
Because this is such a common activity, it may be necessary to require workers to complete a work permit prior to concrete cutting, coring and drilling. This document can provide that sign off for your jobsite.
