The key feature is Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel. Gel cushioning runs along the insole to absorb shock from hard surfaces like concrete, asphalt and wood floors. Dr. Scholl's says the insole distributes foot pressure evenly to reduce fatigue in your feet and legs. A responsive cushioning layer adds some energy return, and an odor control treatment keeps them fresher.

Keep your expectations realistic. This is a comfort insole, not an orthotic. The arch support is light, so it won't do much for flat feet, high arches or plantar fasciitis. Gel adds some weight and bulk compared with foam. And at this price, expect to replace them more often than a premium insole.
